Our distribution partners and manufacturers have all created a comprehensive plan to protect employees. We are making sure to follow all recommended guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in their Interim Guidance for Business and Employers. We are emphasizing employees staying home if sick, using respiratory etiquette, and appropriate hand hygiene. Where employees are able to work remotely, we are having them do so.
Ensuring Our Products Are Safe and Supply is Uninterrupted as always, we are committed to ensuring that our products meet all food safety and regulatory requirements. COVID-19 is not considered a food safety concern, and consumers are at no risk of contracting the coronavirusfrom any food product. The CDC and the USDA state that there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID19 as a foodborne pathogen. We will continue to comply with all requirements and guidelines.
